You are correct when you state there is nothing better than eating the very foods you grow yourself. My dad was a backyard farmer & we loved the new potatoes, beans, corn, etc in the summer & fall. I don't know if he was totally organic, however, I venture to guess he was mighty close. Working in the dirt/soil gives me such pleasure & a calming of not only my mind but also my physical body.
