TRU organic spirits

I found a great way to show your “spirit” for the big game tomorrow – organic vodka and gin! I know the Superbowl is usually synonymous with beer (and there are definitely some great organic beers out there), but I’m more of a vodka girl myself. And I just love Modern Spirits. A member of Slow Food, the husband and wife team creates artisan vodkas, made for sipping. With flavors like Celery Peppercorn, Candied Ginger and my personal favorite Pear Lavender, who needs a mixer?

Their organic line, TRU Organic Spirits, is America’s first completely sustainable organic spirit brand. Each bottle uses 25% less glass that most vodkas and is packaged with recyclable or biodegradable materials. But here’s the best part: for each bottle of TRU vodka sold, they plant a tree! How great is that?
