Here are more beautiful greens from our harvest: organic red leaf lettuce, green lettuce, Swiss Chard and spinach (the carrots were purchased from the Farmer’s Market, but they add a great flavor). Drew called it our “Plate of Prosperity”. 
We washed it all up in preparation for a green smoothie. We both needed a mid-day pick-me-up. So we loaded up the blender with the plate of greens, added a little water and about a cup of unfiltered organic apple juice and~ viola!

Yum! That looks good! The applejuice sounds like a very nice touch. I have made vege juice and added beets as well which are packed with anti-oxidants, and taste surprisingly good.
